Create and teach math and technology lesson plans to girls in 15 sessions of Operation SMART.  The girls have been in school all day and will respond best to hands-on lessons that support and reinforce the school curriculum. 

You will create two sets of lessons that each provide instruction for eight class sessions.  While the lessons will not comprise a unit, each set should focus on related skills or concepts.  You may choose to use a theme for each set.  Following the teaching of each lesson, write a reflection about what went well and what you might change if you were to teach the lesson again.  You will work with a partner and the two of you will turn in one set of plans.  It is expected that both partners will contribute equal work to the plans.

Each set will include:

Overview: 

• Introduction
• Description of students
• Reasons for choice of each activity

Lesson Plans for 7 or 8 class periods (lesson plans are made PRIOR to teaching.  They are NOT a diary of what you did.)

Reflections on each plan and an overall reflection at the end of each group of plans.
